Alfred Nobel's timeline with Dipity

Nobel Laureates (2)

After filling the chart with your chosen laurate, it is time to write his or her biography. Remember several things:
-the verbs must be in past (3rd person singular)
-Narrate the events of his/her life in chronological order
-Don't forget to use time expressions like "in 1996" "when she was 18" "At the age of 35" "between 1990 and 2000"
-You could include a pair of nice pictures
-Use only words that you understand and know its meaning (cope and paste is not accepted in this writing)

You should share the writing with me (Google Docs)

Some of my students' good examples:
Susana's biography (Octavio Paz)
Itsasne's biography (Willis Eugene Lamb)
Maitane's biography (Otto Loewi)

Nobel Laureates (1)

Now you know more about Alfred Nobel's life. Do you think he had an interesting life? According to his will, Alfred Nobel's enormous fortune was to be used to establish prizes to award those who had done their best to benefit mankind in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature and peace.

In this exercise you should choose a Nobel Laureate that died, and find information about his or her life. Click on this link and choose one. You can find that person's own autobiography. Other good source is wikipedia (in English, of course).

The first step is to fill in the table that you can download from scribt and then, share with me (Google Docs)
